Sir William Borlase Grammar School's hockey has a long and succesful history winning national titles both indoor and out since it began including recently the National U16s girls BRONZE medal in 2011 and U14 boys championships GOLD in 2010.

Borlase hockey has also got an impressive history of international athletes from both the boys and the girls with the school having 6 England junior internationals this year alone. In addition, this year  11 of the pupils have made it through to tier two of the England Hockey single System (one stage below England) and many more have made county and JRPC Tier 1 representaion.

Recently the school has had the fabulous addition of the use of a brand new pitch.  The pitch, at Marlow Sports Club, is a 5 minute walk from school and has been built to the highest standards.  At the same time, the school has employed a full-time Director of Hockey.  All of this increased focus and resource has led to the most exciting year yet for hockey at Borlase.
